Two kinds of credits
- Paid credits are what grown-ups use to create characters, books and songs. You get some free when you join, and you can buy more in packs or with a monthly plan. Only grown-ups can see or spend them.
- Free game credits unlock games. They come from playing (every few finished games earn one). Kids can earn and spend these. They cannot be bought.
Free every month
Every family can make one character and one short book each calendar month (Brisbane time) without spending any credits. The free book can be up to the length shown when you make it (currently 6 pages). Anything more uses credits as usual. Unused free makes do not roll over.
Before you spend
Every time credits are about to be used, the app shows how many and what you will get, and waits for you to confirm. Nothing is spent without that confirmation. Credit costs and prices are shown in the app in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies.
The rules for credits
- Credits can only be used in Little Dream Builders. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
- Credits you buy do not expire while your account is open.
- Nothing you can buy gives a random or mystery reward.
When something goes wrong
- If a creation fails on our side, you can try again at no extra cost, and if we still cannot deliver it we will return the credits.
- If what you received is not what was promised, or is badly faulty, email us and we will fix it, make it again, or return the credits.
- Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where you are entitled to a refund under that law and you paid with money, we will refund you in money, not credits, unless you would prefer credits.
Monthly plans
- Before you subscribe we show the price and how many credits you get each month. A plan renews on the same day each month until you cancel, and your Credits page always shows the next renewal date.
- Your plan's credits are added each month and stay in your account until you use them.
- You can cancel any time on your Credits page with one tap. Your plan stays on until the end of the month you have paid for, then stops, and you are not charged again. You keep every credit you already have, and you can change your mind before the month ends.
- We email you a reminder 3 days before each renewal.
- The price you join at is locked in. If we change a plan's price, we email you and the new price only applies from a renewal at least 30 days later, so you have time to cancel first.
Buying in the app stores
If you buy credits inside our iPhone, iPad or Android app, Apple or Google takes the payment and their refund process applies as well as your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Payments are not live yet
While we finish testing, real payments are switched off. Any checkout you see is a practice screen: no card is charged and no card details are kept.
